Why USPS is Failing!

Above is the tracking for a sweatshirt I just order. Chatsworth, Ca to Portland, Or is 954 miles. USPS sent my sweatshirt from Chatsworth, Ca to Austin, Tx and now enroute to Portland, Or. This is a 3476 miles trip, so they ship my sweatshirt a extra 2522 miles.
